I have to say that I was very underwhelmed by this experience and felt a little bit ripped off / disappointed, the buggies are nothing special and the track is very tiny, you really can't get any decent speed up so you go over the jump slowly and its not very thrilling, the pictures/video advertising this experience are misleading, and unless all the "good" cars were in getting serviced I really can't believe all the glowing reviews, all I can talk about was my experience and I am being honest when I say I thought it was a lot of money spent for not much in return, lots of time spent waiting, not much time driving and when eventually you get a drive it's not super exciting.
I honestly had more fun driving an old Datsun 200b around my mates farm, seriously this gig is over rated and over priced, the staff are nice enough no complaints, but they have everyone who is booked for the day turn up at the same time so you end up sitting waiting for your turn watching everyone else go before you, the car I drove in didn't feel like it had any more power than an old 200b.... I'm not kidding, I wasn't expecting a full race prepared rocket but I was expecting something with a little bit more get up and go, the buggys do have decent suspension..... the car I drove had weak brakes - in a way I can understand the under powered cars because I would imagine some extremely inexperienced ppl turning up for a drive, overall I was not impressed and I wouldn't recommend this to any of my friends/family - whats more I live on the North side and the track is a very long drive from home, so it takes you an hour or so to find this place, then you wait another half hour ...read more
This is one of the best things we have ever done! I booked my husband in for a drive of these buggies, serious power and they are actually the ones that they race so they are the real thing. I cant believe that a race team actually let you drive their actual race cars. Nice people that run it, you can tell they love their jobs...this was AWESOME!!!
