One of the worst experiences I have had in a while. Staff member was rude on arrival. Then meals took quite some time. That wasn't the issue. We can be patient. We received our meal and I proceeded to stand up and walk to counter (make it easier for them) to ask for some tomato sauce and extra plate as we were sharing. No words just grunt and huff. Then when paying for overpriced burger and water (totalling $19) - the staff member proceeded to list all the 'extra items' we should be charged for in mocking voice. 'extra plate' 'extra sauce' 'extra cutlery'. Was in shock. Just stood there as another staff said nothing. We had been nothing but pleasant. I have never written a review but this staff deserves one for ruining my time in Moss Vale. Never experienced such a rude person.
My husband and I were travelling through Moss Vale from Canberra, we stopped at the Old Farm Kitchen for breakfast.
The cafe was quite busy, the staff were very pleasant, taking our order within minutes. We received our coffees which were made to perfection. Our breakfasts (bacon eggs & grilled tomato) were brilliant and very reasonably priced.
We will defiantly be stopping at the cosy Old Farm Kitchen again. I cannot recommend this cafe enough, very happy!
Sub standard in every way. Our order totally confused the wait staff, (a couple of toasted sandwiches and 2 breakfast meals) another wait staff came to confirm our order but still there was confusion when we received our meals as an extra one was given to the table. We then had to listen to the (what I presume is the) management the 2 wait staffs about the extra meal. Quite embarrassing when no one else was in the cafe.
The meals were bland, and when we went to pay, were charged for "extras".(A ham, cheese and tomato sandwich includes a surcharge).
We will never go here again and will not recommend to our friends.
The service I received was pleasant and orderly, I ordered a ceaser salad and a extra froth cappuccino and it was splended in every way with a reasonable price and staff were able to attend to others in the same time as preparing my meal and I give them 4.5 stars and that's my most generous of reviews due to fact that its the best service and meal I've had in a long time.
