Olio Cafe & Bar

Great little restaurant / cafe in an area of South Brisbane where you're spoilt for choice.
My lamb shank main was fabulous and there was even a gluten free option for dessert.
We were abandoned a little for service after our mains were served and it took a while to track down a waiter's attention for a refill, but otherwise a nice experience. Great for pre or post theatre meals or drinks.

Really large, nice cafe/restaurant with bright yellow chairs & open interior. We wandered in off the street and were seated straight away for an early dinner on Valentine's Day. I ordered the cod with a lovely salad & chips. My sister ordered the lamb shank which was amazing also. The wine & service was good. It took a while before our dessert order was taken though. The tiramisu was average but the gf truffle ball my sister ordered was delish. When we went to pay, our waiter gave us our desserts 'on the house' as we'd waited a little while for service. Olio is a lovely restaurant, definitely one I'd recommend to everyone.
