Oliveto Restaurant & Bar

The restaurant has a beautiful location with water views and would make a perfect place for lunch on a warm day . We however went here for dinner and found the place to be fully packed .
The menu is limited but the food was delicious . The mushroom pappardelle that I ordered was cooked to perfection and packed delicate flavours .
The staff was really attentive and friendly . Would look to go back for lunch for good food and views .

Went there for a romantic dinner and it was disappointed. Waited for far to long to be noticed on entry. It was very loud. Food came quickly but unfortunatly the seafood was overbooked and to tough to eat and there was sand in the scollops. It was so unpleasant it was left almost untouched. When we were asked how we had enjoyed our meal we explained this and we still paid full price with no apologies. We had maccas on the way home. Fail.

Thanks goodness we used the Viva Sydney card when we came here for lunch recently. This is an expensive place. Even the cheapest bottle of wine was $40. We didn't actually choose the cheapest one, and it really wasn't that good in my opinion. We both ordered the Barramundi special for our main, and while it was nice, it was a bit overcooked and dry. I did like the bread that is included with all the meals and the service was very attentive and good. But overall, I wasn't that impressed. It was a pleasant lunch, but there are plenty of local restaurants that are at least as good and half the price. I don't see myself going back.
