Outback Jacks Bar & Grill

Just Terrible!! Had lunch for Mothers Day. 1st off only 3 wait staffs for the lunch session, which were run of their feet. we were given a mothers day menu, which had only 2 options. wasn't advertised that it was only tht menu. We did get the normal menu after complaining about that.. We ordered 2 steak challenges and they were awful. chips were over cooked, steaks weren't cooked properly. steaks were pressure cooked and the on the grill for the effect, They did NOT taste like flamed grilled and were watery. My meal of Salmon was forgotten, by the time i asked them nearly everyone on my table had finished. Salmon was small and smelly.. The decoration of the place is defiantly not Outback Jack style!!

Amazing food. Melt in your mouth ribs and ok chicken but in the end you go for the steak and ribs anyway. Delish. ALSO BEST ENTREE EVER THE CHEESY BACON CHIPS.

Food was delicious, I had a barramundi burger that had an awesome mayonaise on it and came with a pile of crunchy, fat chips. Partner had the best meal though which I later regretted not ordering, he had the Wagyu Burger which came on a tray with onion rings and chips and an awesome dipping sauce. The burger itself was drool worthy, awesome meat and awesome flavours!



Only let down was the service. We went on a midday whilst on holidays and were literally 1 of 2 couples in the whole restaurant however for some reason it took 20 minutes to get our wine and beer we ordered and nearly 40 minutes for our food after ordering. Wouldn't have minded waiting so much if it wasn't that we went on a nearly 40 degree day and that restaurant is not well ventilated at all. It is also not air conditioned, the best they have done is ceiling fans above the tables.

definatly Below the quality one would expect from such a high price. Steak was over cooked, with a Kilpatrick sauce that was nothing more than a BBQ sauce with a few bacon pieces. Chicken breast was a mediocre piece of filleted chicken breast cooked to the point of dry and tasteless.
