$6 for half a small avocado on top of an unimpressive meal of corn fritters was extremely disappointing. Was very much looking forward to brunch but the service most certainly was not with a smile either. Actually felt intimidated by the grumpy looking owner. Staff were lovely. Coffee good. Location great. Wouldn’t bother again though.
Atrocious service, bird poo on table, three of four meals were not good and they got the order wrong. Four of us came in for brunch and our table had several bits of dry bird poo and bird poo stains stuck on it. We came in at 10 a.m. so it was obvious the table hadn't been properly wiped down that day and possibly longer. One of the group was happy with their meal, the other three were not. Located on the beach so on a sunny day it is glorious to sit on the beach chairs with a coffee and a book or merley watch people walk by. The pancakes on 2 occassions that I have been there have been delicious and I would definitely be back in the warmer months so I can enjoy the sun chairs. For me winter is for hibernation so I would not enjoy sitting on the cold windy beach.
great location on beach, open fire on winters day, food average and over priced for serving size and quality $18 average main for breaky and lunch items. , no bonsoy for coffess, prana chai tea OK. lunch from 11am. soup of day was chicken laksa, had the tart of day -pumpkin, broad beans and fetta (very small, little pumpkin or beans, mainly eggs) overpriced and bland. my kids shared the open lamb souvlaki with pitta which was nice but cheap iceberg lettuce so also overpriced. disappointing
