the transmission on Rav4 had to be replaced, I was given three options with pricing. Once I chose the option suitable for me, they replaced and had me back in my car within the week. I have since driven approx a week and transmission is great.

I wanted to change the auto transmission fluid and the diff oil, figured out that a specialist company would be a better choice for that. Having found the building I spoke to the couple of guys - the indicative price of labour was mentioned around $100. They also supplied the oil and the pan gasket / filter for the autotransmission. The price on completion of workbecame over $300 which I think is around $100 higher then it should have been. I was explained that if I wasn't a nice guy and didn't talk to them about the weather, the end of the world etc - the price would have been around $350 (shown on computer). My guess is - the end of the world may start with a simple overcharging of the customer.
