I visited this place with my family today. We haven't had a good experience from Sandy the manager of the bakery . She was extremely rude. Not sure if she was having a bad day or she was tired or something after the long weekend , however her customer service skills need improvement. Tired or not , she needs to be 100% even 200% polite and have excellent customer service skills if she wants to work in hospitality and deal with the general public. Maybe sandy should take a course in customer service and learn how to speak to people from different cultural background.
The other staff who was an older lady who was very nice though. I wish we got her in the first place . ! Unfortunately she wa busy with other customers . And we got Sandy!!
This is another of those very few places that I would love to be so powerful that I could ban people from visiting, and keep it all to my own family. The service was ever so friendly but their wares, their creations, their pastries... Weight Watchers be warned not to come near because resistance IS futile. Mmmmmmmmmm - worth going to Daylesford just for them.
