I took my ride on mower up for repairs after electrical smelling smoke and the mower stopped working. They fixed it and changed 3 pulleys and the 3 blades of which there was nothing wrong with them. When I picked it up I asked them what was wrong with it. Why wouldn't it start? They couldn't give me an answer only that the pulleys and blades needed replacing I had no option but to pay the $540.75 for the repairs. Then to top it all off when I left the key with them they gave me someone else's key that had keys to a padlock on it. On pointing this out to them the woman told me that I shouldn't have left the keys with them. I said that no one told me different. Nice shop in appearance but that's as far as it goes. I WON'T GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE NOW I'VE BEEN TREATED THIS WAY. I have to rate the stars unfortunately I rate half so 1 is an over rating

I bought a new Husqvarna ride on mower recently from this business, I received good advice, the best price and even free delivery and a lesson how to operate it safely and properly.
I highly recommend this business based on my own experience with them.
I am also very happy with the Husqvarna ride on mower.

Took my very expensive mower into Paulls for what I believed to be a warranty claim which was no spark. I requested that no general service be done as I had been burnt by their general service costs in the past. They had it for over a week and a half without contacting me. I had to ring to find what was happening. When I went to pick it up they told me I owed $117 which covered labour and filters. I asked what was the spark problem. Could not tell me - mechanic was not in today. They said the machine had an oil leak. Didn't actually fix it. I was ropable and was offered a $17 discount to placate me. As soon as I got the machine home it failed to start. Even more ropable. Got a friend to look at it who actually knows something about engines. He found a broken part in the top, fixed it and it works beautifully. Still leaks oil. Paulls charges $100/hr for mechanic work. I put my ride on in for a general service not a break down. After calling every week for 4 weeks with constant excuses about how busy they were I advised they should not have collected my mower till they could do the work as I could have been using it the only way we got it back was demanding it be returned unfinished all of a sudden they did it so the wouldn't miss out on the work $400 later for a general service NOT break down and 4 weeks later I finally got my mower back I will not be going there again

Paulls Mowers in Richmond charged my 74 year-old mother $107.00 to service her whipper snipper (my CAR only costs $180.00!!!!!)and didn't even help her out to the car with it! I went to use it and it still didn't work. I took it back and they were quite unhelpful but said they would "sort it out for me". Upon going to pick it up, they tried to charge me another $65.00 for parts and labour!!!! They said there was nothing wrong with it last time and that they had used it for an HOUR and it was working perfectly!!!!!!! They called me a liar and would not give me the whipper snipper back unless I paid another $65.00 which I refused. As a loyal customer for the last couple of decades, I was horrified to be treated this way. I am just glad it was me who copped it and not my dear Mum.
