The yard and desk staff are extremely helpful ... without exception. They always greet you by name and you are served quickly once you enter the yard. You may pay a bit more than the green giant up the road but the quality of their timber is excellent and they are happy for you to select the best from their stock for your job. Their product knowledge is second to none and they have some innovative products I have seen nowhere else. Their range of fastenings and door hardware is good as well. Peninsula Timber's ordering system is very efficient. . and their delivery costs are reasonable. I would go nowhere else for cypress posts and fencing. I remember turning up 15 minutes before closing for a big order and no problems or grizzles. About four or five of the guys got it all loaded in record time. In summary, exceptional service and product knowledge at a reasonable price.
