Quick disclaimer - the owner of this fabulously indulgent pet emporium is a friend of mine. But believe me - my dog and I would do our retail therapy here regardless. On a friendly little strip of friendly little Albert Park village, there's no place you and your pet are more welcome. Not just a store, but a bit of a social centre for everything dog and cat-ish, and for everyone besotted with their precious pets. Wendy and each of her staffers (including cocker spaniel Lilly, who is there to greet canine guests most days) care about your babies almost as much as you do. She has lots of advice and contacts for anyone looking for pet help - as well as the very best, latest (and most outrageous!) pet luxuries and essentials. Pets and the City is a must-drop-in on any stroll down Victoria Avenue with your favourite pup. Do try the doggiecinos. (Well, don't YOU try them - they are for doggies only, and boy do they lap them up.)
