Piccolo Me

Given the number of terrific coffee shops and breakie places around the area, you would think this little shop would try harder. It is not open on Sunday's at all and only for part of Saturday. After a coffee the other day where I was sure they had just not been bothered to change the milk from soy, gave it one more attempt this weekend. Ordered my regular skinny cap, only to get it in a larger cup, still only one shot but filled with milk so weak as anything. There is just no care. Maybe it is banking on custom from the nearby hospital, but the on site coffee shop there is better, as are the 2 a mere 100m away on West street - all delivering hot and well flavoured coffee.

Sweet little place with pops of yellow to make you happy ! On the Pacific Highway, so it's cool for a break if you're visiting a patient at the nearby Mater Hospital, or attending one of the businesses in this part of Crowie. Superb coffee, that's the speciality and very warm service and a good selection of mags and newspapers on the day I went. I also had an excellent panini for lunch, but I can't wait to go back with my kids to try the ice cream burger and frappes etc which I'm told are just yum. Also something called a Whipolo is their interpretation of a whipped milkshake perhaps ? Really nice to see some fun things on the menu especially for teens who are wanting to graduate from babycinos ! Thanks guys i really liked my visit.

Perfect little place for a coffee! I must say it was a treat to sit in here and read for a few hours.

It is near the Mater hospital - go here if you are waiting for a person to come out of day surgery. It is a small area but it is pleasant and the staff are nice.

If you haven't heard of their nutella bomb you need to get on it! A cafe that provides something a little bit different but can change you coffee ritual. Have only been once and had a salmon sandwich and a nutella bomb! Wow - so much chocolate! Best to come with stretchy pants ;P. Located on the Pacific Highway in Crows Nest - Wasn't too busy when i went about 1.30pm. Great first time experience.
