Pie In the Sky

Terrible all around - A 20 minute wait for a table, a 1 hour wait for food, way overpriced, and when the food arrived it was very average. At $9 a pie, your pie should be amazing; not dry and bland.

The pies are good value, especially if you choose take-away. The chicken and mushroom pie was very good and very fresh. The salad was really fresh and nicely served. The service is really good considering how busy they are. I took some pies to try at home but didn't really like the spinach and fetta one but the pumpkin one was lovely. The food is ok. The queues are ridiculous but well-managed. Service can be a teensy bit slow. On a nice day sitting outside is great.

Very dissapointed with Pie in the Sky. The 'gourmet' pies have shrunk and your famous mash potato is now made from fake Deb powder. I chose mash and peas for my toddlers, instead of chips, only for them to be served fake food at inflated 'gourmet' prices. The deb potatoes weren't even mixed with enough water so it was super dry. You've sold out on quality AND increased the prices. Not going back which is a shame.

I've always wanted to try a shepherds pie from Pie in the Sky and I finally got the chance! There was a number of selections and it was so hard to decide at first. Finally with some suggestions from the counter staff and consulting Urban Spoon I ended up picking the the humble Shepherds Pie. It did not disappoint. The flavour was strong and the meat filling was very juicy. I have since come back and also tried the red wine beef one, such a unique and sophisticated flavour. Would recommend anybody try this.

The pie lovers' destination. This place is always packed for a good reason. I love their korma and curry pies. My friends and colleagues love this place too and we always meet up here or when we have some overseas guests. The ambience is rustic with friendly service. Food is superb. Keep up the good work folks!
