Pinegrove Memorial Park

Easter Monday and we attended our family plots, both burial and cremation and were shocked by the total disregard for presentation of the grounds. Grass so overgrown, I could barely locate on site and weeds as far as you could see.

People who visit their loved ones deserve to have their memories treated with more respect.

Very poor indeed

We checked mid December to enquire when lawns were to be mowed prior to Christmas & when we were allowed to place decorations for Christmas & when they needed to be removed. It was very distressing to not have the lawns mowed when we attended on Christmas eve. Luckily we bought our own whipper snipper as we do every time we visit as Pinegrove does not take pride in the way the place looks - they leave it up to the families to take care of the lawns.
We also placed Christmas decorations & pegged solar lights around the grave in Calvary 11 section so they could not be removed or blow away. We returned 4 January to remove the decorations only to find everything gone. This was not done by staff as other graves still had the decorations. I just hope you let it slip one day what you have done & your friends & family see what a lowlife you are.

(1) At the time of the initial interview, there was a discrepancy between the cost of the plot and the final cost of the plot (2) Dirty public toilets for visitors (3) My Fathers plaque had a shovel full of dirt on it when the employees dug a neighbouring plot - which was not removed after they dug the plot .

All the staff I had to deal with were kind,. understanding and courteous. Everything was very dignified, time was taken to explain, questions were answered easily. The park itself is beuatiful, with small fountains and gardens - a place for refection and memories, well taken care of, everything is well laid out, while still a sad place, it also has a peacefullness about it.....
