I was supposed to have my first driving class with Platinum Driving School this morning. My husband had spoken to a staff at the driving school over the phone yesterday and it was agreed that the driving instructor would come to my place at 6.45 this morning to take me for my first class. After waking up especially early this morning to be ready for this class, the driving instructor did not show up! I waited for approximately half an hour and then my husband decided to give the instructor a call to see why they had not turned up.The reason was they had forgotten the appointment and that they had another appointment at 7.45! How can someone make an appointment with you on just the day before and have it totally slip their mind in less than 24 hours????!!! Over the past three years in Australia I have experienced excellent service as well some that were not so great but the service my wife got from Platinum Driving School definitely lists as one of the worst.
After I found their details on Google the name itself made me think they were good. I was soooooo wrong. My wife made an appointment; they arrived 10 minutes late only after she phoned them. On their second appointment, after waiting for 10 minutes she phoned them to find out why the instructor was late only to be told he would be there in another 15 minutes. And without an apology. She then cancelled.
Not once did they have the decency to contact her to let her know they would be late.
So much for Platinum Service!!! I would NEVER recommend them!
