Port Stephens

I booked for 9 of my friends 2 days before and when we arrived they gave us tickets but when we tried to board the boat we were told its full and had been overbooked. By tour groups that had book on the day. We were told to come back in a couple of hours for the next one or to get a refund.

After 5 minutes of arguing with them on the dock did they finally agree to do a headcount and see if they had room for an extra 9 people. Finally they decided to accept us on the dolphin cruise.

Good thing its not that expensive as the service is bad and the boat was overcrowded the only thing that was good was the weather. Yes we did see dolphins but having so many people makes it hard to move around on the boat. Best advice is go with a smaller operator that does not take the very large tour bookings.

Had an enjoyable dinner cruise with these guys. Buffett a little sparse and a little crowded but staff were extremely curteous. I would go again - if I didnt get motion sickness.
