Bowen therapy uses a gentle technique that helps release tissue tightness and discomfort associated with many common conditions, relax stress and tension in the body and restore flexibility and balance. Treatments are applied through light clothing, usually pain-free and suitable for people of all ages.

I have been seeing Barb for Bowen Therapy for over a year now and I can't recommend her highly enough. I had knee and wrist pain which has gone and I now have lower back pain which Barb manages. I feel without bowen therapy my pain would return. My mum also see's Barb for headaches which have reduced dramatically through regular bowen.
I've been to see Barb @ Pure Balance on several occasions to help with a sore neck, back & general stiffness (office workers joy!) and it's been an absolute pleasure each time. Within minutes of starting the Bowen therapy I felt more relaxed, comfortable & at ease. Barb is incredibly friendly & kind and has a way of making you feel comfortable and secure in her abilities the moment you walk in. I've never used Bowen therapy before, but I will definitely be back to see her!
