Just a fantastic day out for adults and children alike. There's tonnes to do look at in the dinosaur area and the top floor full of taxidermy animals and mamals is great fun. Be sure to checked out the crabs on the carpet if you have little ones endless entertainment for them!!
Have returned with my little guy and went to see the current dinosaur exhibition and he loved it. It's not huge (not sure what I was expecting) but that's fine. Lots to see and do and even though he was a little scared to start with due to the loud roaring, he soon got used to it and was up and down the exhibition.
I even became a member so we can go as many times as we like whilst it is on.
I wish this place would change the exhibits more often... But it's beautiful and free (except for the special exhibits) so I can't complain! It'd be a great place to bring your kids, but I'm 20 and I still really enjoy a visit there. Plus the gift shop is pretty awesome.
Great for the young and old. Went in as my little one loves dinosaurs and even though the dinosaur exhibition isn't on yet there is still plenty to do and see. Had fun play down in the ENERGEX Playasaurus Place zone and looking at the animals (stuffed mainly) on level 3. There was even a microscope set up using a tv to look a bones through. Will go again for sure.
