Roman Pizza

Call to order a pizza for dinner for the kids, place the order, make the payment then get told "that will be an hour" not happy but ok, I'll deal with it. An hour and a half later, still no Pizza. Call the shop to be told the delivery driver is just leaving. Tell them I'm not happy about this and want to talk to the manager, the response I get is, "he's too busy" I live a 5 min drive from the store(but had. 30 minutes later still no pizza. Get a call from the delivery driver saying I'm here out front, walk out front and surprise, surprise no driver!! Get on the phone to the shop again to ask for a refund to be told sorry we've made the pizza we don't do that, as I'm on the phone I being put on hold, the driver turns up. By this stage I just want a refund to go somewhere else, tell the driver I don't want the pizza and ask the store to refund my money to my card, only to be told "we don't do that either" we'will send the cash out. I'd been here a couple of years ago and wasn't impressed - mainly because of the price. Went the other night and although their prices haven't changed the pizza seemed better quality to me Plenty of toppings, tasty, well cooked, good base. Still not the cheapest (even recognising that it's good pizza). Timing was good, didn't have to wait.

Friends suggested we go here after bowling. What a pizza shop. We sat outside and not one bit of pizza left. So glad to have this place recommended to us. Thanks Romans Pizza - we will be back.
