I have been having trouble with my 2006 Holden vz wagon with a loud clunking sound after driving approx. 40 kms.I have taken my car to a few mechanics the last business I took my car to told me the tail shaft had to be sent away to be reconditioned and the approx. cost would be about $1,200.I took my car to Royce Motors, they put my car on the hoist Kevin found the only problem was the diff oil needed to be changed guess what
NO MORE NOISE .....GREAT WORK and I was only charged for changing the diff oil...YEHA

Make sure to get the service costs before giving them the nod. I was charged double of what I was quoted (and double of what the Dealer workshop manual says it should take), apparently they had some troubles. It shouldn't be the customer who pays if you can't do the job properly. Got the job done, but please beware that this may happen to you. An honest Mechanic no matter how friendly is like picking a needle from a haystack. Please do the right thing by yourself!
