We rode on RSL cab number T7615. We had several issues during the ride.
1- The driver confirmed that the rates for 1300 cabs, RSL and other services are same. However, we had to pay around $14 whereas we usually pay around $10, with normal traffic at 1300 cabs. We understand that services can differ in rates but drivers should not make misleading statements.
2- The cab did not have a GPS and driver just wandered around. He was not sure of the way and halfway through, he had to take his personal cell phone which was not working very well. Nobody ever takes the time to write a good review for taxis....
After some poor experiences with other taxi companies we tried RSL. From the time they took our booking to the pick up and drop off their service was excellent. The gentleman who took our call was very helpful and took time to discuss with us the best pick up time travelling to the airport allowing for distance and traffic at the time of day. The driver arrived on time, with an SMS notification he was on the way. He was very courteous explained which route he was going to take to be sure it was ok. Arrived on time at the airport, unstressed, and wasn't overcharged.
Not a good service at all. My partner and I phoned for a taxi at 6pm by 7:00pm still no taxi. We phoned back only to be told they didn't have a taxi in the area so one wasn't coming. Quote "we're not a hire service, taxi will be there when there in the area they just don't come to you you will have to wait till ones near your hotel"
Feeling angry, 10 minutes later phoned back to say how upset we we're with their service and they said they had passed our Job onto another taxi company.
Still no taxi ......
