We are your local Medibank, Bupa & CBHS provider dentists. Our practice is accredited to national safety and quality standards.Ryde Family Dentist was established in 2012, building upon the long heritage of the premises, which have hosted dental practices since the 1950s. Located in West Ryde, our name represents our commitment to looking after the wider Ryde area.
Our current practice principal is Dr Ines Despot, who took up the reins from Dr John Lewis in early 2012. Dr Lewis had run the surgery since 1977. He remains an important and respected team member and still practises here occasionally. Upon taking over, Dr Despot refurbished the practice and installed the latest dental equipment as a first step. Next, inspired by new national healthcare standards, she improved the way the practice was managed by introducing comprehensive quality systems (NSQHS) and training routines for staff. In 2014, after a careful search for suitable candidates, we were pleased to welcome Dr Edward Wells, our newest dentist, whose varied experience and modern skills are a perfect match for Ryde Family Dentist.

I have been with them for the last 2 years, been treated by different doctors all of whom I'm happy with (Dr Despot is indeed great, I admit). The prices are not high, the service provided is good. Weekends are usually booked for 2-3 weeks ahead, but you will normally find a spot on weekdays in case of an emergency.
Recently i contacted Ryde Family Dentist because my wife damaged her tooth 2 weeks before our wedding, all staff where friendly, professional, informative & the work my wife had done was exceptional. Thanks to Dr NurbojaI my wife could smile for our wedding photos. I have been to more than six dentists throughout Sydney over the last 10 years & for the last 3 years have been repairing the damage caused by them when i go overseas. From now on we will be returning to Ryde Family Dentist.
I have been going to Ines for the last few years and will never look back. After going to a very well know Eastern Suburbs Dentist for many years I was not happy with the care I was receiving and a friend suggested I try Ines. I was immediately impressed with her no fuss approach and friendly care. She understood the problem I was having with my teeth and fixed it up in one appointment. That was a few years ago and now I have referred all my family and friends to her. I am not the kind of person who gives reviews but I believe Dr Ines and her surgery deserves praise. In my view she is one of the best dentists in Sydney and I will keep coming back.
