I was really impressed with this hotel! I stayed for one night only and found the room to be well presented, very clean and generally comfortable. It had a contemporary up to date feel, I think it must have been refurbished in the not so distant past. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. They were a little light on the towels (only 2 for a twin room?) although I am sure I could have asked for more. It would be an EXCELLENT place to stay for the Bathurst car races. The rooms overlook the track and there is a fun shared balcony.
HIGHLIGHTS: Furniture, carpet, walls etc. fresh & new since it was recently renovated.
LOWLIGHTS: Not a huge fan of having sweet temptations on offer in the room.
BATHROOM: Loved the Australian owned Sanctum range of shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer.
KITCHENETTE: Handy to have this option, as not available in most hotels!
FOOD: On-site Chicane does quality dinner and desserts at reasonable prices.
LOCATION: Main town area is a short drive (or long walk) away.
SERVICE: Helpful.
VERDICT: Probably the choice hotel in Bathurst.
