such a nice dessert place with a nice view.
Sabor only sell dessert! the have variety of dessert and you can pair it with wine as well..
i tried the black forest cake and ferrero rocher gateau.. I like the black forest more.
The ferrero rocher had rice bubble but it was soggy.
Friends suggested this place and with so many tasty mouth watering options you will struggle to pick what will fit into your stomach!
So we tried the sabor tasting plate which consisted of flourless chocolate cake (not bad but nothing special) and salted caramel mousse and sticky date pudding (my least fav but my fiancée fav!) and salted caramel mousse (soft and creamy) and chocolate and raspberry dome tart (nice but overpowering at the same time) and lastly the coffee and walnut slice (just the right amount of sweetness for me)
Each piece looks like a work of art, your not sure to stare at it or eat it!
Some others in our table found it too rich while others enjoyed it like there last supper
One negative is there prices though, you need to come with your wallet!
Still a nice place to visit and marvel at,if your in the hunter valley it's a must try stop!
OH MY ! This is one amazing place. Set in the beautiful Hunter Valley on a large/remote property the setting is spectacular, no hustle and bustle, minimal noise, great food! The concept is simple you find a table (or pre-book a table) have a look at the menu and head inside to look at the amazing desserts, order and pay at the counter and your food is brought out. Keep in mind this is dessert bar so it's not great for a diabetic, but they do have Gluten Free items. Dessert can be served paired with the perfect wine or you can have the dessert on its own, or with tea, coffee, milkshakes, soft drink, hot chocolate etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bottled water and glasses were brought to our table on request and plates were cleared away quickly. Inside you could buy treats to take away, small tubs of sorbet, rocky road, chocolates etc all hand made locally. Everyone in our group was certainly impressed and it's unanimous we'll be back again.
