Seacliff Beach Taverner Hotel

Okay, this isn't an old haunt, but since a friend of mine used to live in the area I came here a couple of times. However, since I had come back to Adelaide for a couple of weeks I decided that I would come and check this place out again, especially since I haven't been here for years. I can't remember all that much about it, but these days it is a typical beach front pub, which isn't bad in and of itself. They have a balcony, and an outdoor area, that looks out over the beach, and in one of the rooms there is this wall where kids can draw on with chalk. I didn't get to check the upstairs area though, but from what I could see it was a pretty decent pub and would come back if I was in the area.

I had to clean my own table. Please train your serving staffs to be better assertive. Also write your dates on your open wine bottles - my wines were off - I had to send 2 back and complain to the bar staff twice.

Had to clean my own table & then I had to wait for the bar staff to actually realise I existed they were more concerned about talking about their Wednesday night out... Not Impressed. Love the pub & the view - but bar staff need to wake up

Does not even deserve half a star. Get your staff to clean tables after patrons leave!! It really isnt hard, I should know. I had to clean my own myself. Disgusting. Pitty as it is such a beautiful view - but shocking service

Very bad experience. Arrived Sunday afternoon, any spare table was left with glassware, food scraps & not been wiped down. Made my way to the balcony & had to clean my own table. Absolutely appalling customer service. Great pub but need better staff!!!
