This is a fantastic pet store - we keep coming back because the owners are so friendly, helpful and full of good advice. Their fresh and frozen marrow bones are really good value.

We buy all of our dog food for our two beagles at Simply Anything. The staff are always helpful and friendly. On one occasion a staff member accidently under-calculated our transaction. We immediately alerted them to this and she subsequently gave us a free dog toy "for our honesty". It wasn't necessary, but it was a lovely gesture. We whole-heartedly support any pet-store that is against selling pets off the floor.

I have just been informed of the review and to be honest i am shocked and extremely confused. I am the owner of this company & also the person that served that customer. Lets get the story straight, a customer came in with a pump that was purchased from our store and said it didnt work i went and tested the pump and showed the customer that in fact it did work! The pump had been used in her fish tank and she then said her husband had purchased a different kind so she wanted a refund. As i explained that wasnt possible as it had been used and it was not a faulty product. The customer didnt understand why i wouldnt sell a second hand product! As far as herding her out of the shop i nor any of my staff are shepards! This is the first "complaint" i have had in 41/2 years we serve over 600 customers a week, we are a family bussiness and we do not treat our customers like that. Was a regular customer until I purchased a Fish Tank Pump and was refused a refund as I believed it faulty. Felt that as a regular customer and someone that spent over $500 in the last financial year at their store that for good customer service I should have been given the $30 refund. When I said to the staff member 'you are willing to loose a good customer, plus friends and family, for the sake of a $30 pump, that I did not use?' I was herded out the door with a blatent 'yes, oh well'. VERY RUDE, BAD EXPERIENCE for me and I will NEVER shop there again. If you can go to another pet store... DO!
