Sonoma Bakery Cafe

I was pleasently surprised when I came across Sonoma here in Glebe. A much smaller cafe then the original in Alexandria, coffee was just as good. The smell of freshly baked bread is so good & I got a traditional sourdough to go which was enjoyable fresh. The crust was quite hard & chewy, maybe a little over baked.

I did not eat in, rather, i got a take-away coffee and purchased a loaf of sourdough to use at home. This is part of a chain, but the service is individual and very good. Coffee was spot-on, and my loaf of sourdough did have that sour taste which I love. I would like to try more products on my next visit, hopefully that will be soon.

Very small cafe doing solid coffee and a good range of breads. I'm very picky about sourdough, and Sonoma have never quite won my breakfast spend because it becomes too hard and chewy when toasted.

Very good coffee, very good bread. You will know this already if you know Sydney breakfasts

Good coffee. Awesome sandwiches. Very small space to eat in but there's Foley Park across the road.
