Soul Caf based in the heart of one of Melbournes busiest streets in the CBD. Directly next door to the Commonweath bank, easy to locate and towards the Bourke Street Mall end. I only recently discovered that this caf is part of the Grand Mecure hotel, having walked passed them on many occasions. We were here one afternoon and thought the bagels, and sandwiches by the window display looked ok, so thought why not give them a try. I have to admit the service was quite slow, given that it was prime lunch time, and I guess when you associate any business directly linked to a 5 star hotel you would expect the same level of service. Not quite the same here. I opted for the chicken burger with pimento mayonnaise, bacon & avocado which set me back for $15.50 and a bottle of water.
