I've always driven past this place on the weekends and it's always packed so I'd thought I'd give it a go midweek. Food was good, coffee average served in a hard plastic glass??? Staff were really, really friendly in a bit of a weird way but it's obvious they are passionate about what they are doing. Was worth a visit but I'd probably go there on the weekend for a bit more atmosphere.
Standard food fare with what I would call too friendly staff - I'm not a fan of being called "sweetie", "darl", "love", etc by anyone, let alone strangers and those that are younger than me to boot. Added to that, music is sometimes played too loud and you might think that you're in a nightclub instead of a cafe. Coffee is just average and ordering at the counter is awkward due to the seating and thoroughfare to the outdoor area.
have visited this cafe many times. they have an fairly extensive menu including breaky options (egg dishes) wraps/sandwiches/focaccias, salads (lamb/calamari), frittatas, soups of the day, etc. drinks include smoothies, juices and the usual hot and cold drinks (coffees are just OK)
it is reasonably priced. i usually order a freshly made salad sandwich with is sizeable for cost (packed high with ingredients with yummy bread). they are open 7 days for breaky and lunch. seating is available indoors, and outdoors is back in enclosed patio area, and out front on street under umbrellas. fairly easy to get a park nearby unless especially busy. staff are very freindly.
