I have been to 2 wedding receptions there now and would caution everyone against it.Is a very plain, semi-well kept house. The dining area is uneven and creaks most distractingly during speeches as the obviously inexperienced staff walk about. The gardens are large but average. The food was O.K but the cheesecake was literally the one my daughter sells at The French Kitchen, I suspect more of it was also store bought/packet mix. Staff don't seem to have been trained and was very rude. I strongly advise against having any sort of function here.
After a cancelled first wedding attempt earlier in the year, the venue then closing and taking our deposit, we couldn't have asked for a better venue than Springfield House Dural. The gardens were gorgeous, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was first class. The bellbird chorus in the magnificent gums throughout the wedding service was just so beautiful. So many guests praised the food, the setting and the exemplary service. We highly recommend Judy and her wonderful team.
