Had dinner here, the food was below average at best but the staff were wonderful, and the views are amazing.
Very pricey considering what we were served, I had lamb shanks and they were basically reheated from frozen and still cold in the middle with a sauce poured over. The ambience made up for the bad food.
Whether you're just popping in for a drink at the bar or you're celebrating a wedding, St. Bernard's Hotel is a great place to do it. The grounds at the back of the hotel are so pretty, there's lovely views, gardens, a gazebo, little chairs and sweet places for a wedding. The huge marquee off to the side is gorgeous for a reception. Staff are lovely and helpful too. Pretty peacocks wander the property showing off their amazing feathers. It's just lovely. Definitely worth popping in here if you're on the mountain.
