Pubs & Bars
Stags Head Hotel
39 Cecil St
Williamstown, VIC, 3016

However, it keeps a nice charm about the place, being more of a traditional pub that what a lot of the others have transformed into. In fact it comes across as one of those country style pubs with huge collections of everything covering the walls. The staff, or at least the publican, is quite friendly, even though the beers on tap are rather limited forcing me to resort to the standard.
Small, personal, great live music. This is a great little pub, off the main drag which actually helps it remain unique. Great steak, friendly staff offered to keep the kitchen open for our late arrival. Prices are so reasonable I feel like I'm ripping them off!
I'll be going back, a real little treasure this place. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is accessible from the main door, but is still very much separate to the Bar. The meals are mostly traditional English meals which have been prepared to a better standard than most. The feel of the room is cosy, but not too cramped which makes for a lovely experience. ...read more
