Steve's Fish & Chips

Delicious food, amazing staff and reasonable prices. Love this place.

First step through the door I was pleasantly surprised by the smiling faces and the warm welcome by Steve himself, yes before you ask, there is a Steve. As a new patron, I enquired as to what Steve himself would recommend, with a cheeky smile and advice on a Chicken Works Burger.
Steve is a pleasant Aussie bloke with a dry, dark sense of humour which only someone that works in a hospital would understand. The burger itself was wonderful and cleverly constructed so the bread of the burger never gets soggy, and the flavour is retained and on separate levels so that you truly get the taste of what you're paying for. For a $10.80 Burger, I was worried that disappointment would drain my excitement. Happily, I wasn't disappointed and left with no empty stomach.
I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a good feed, friendly banter, warm smiles and an exceptionally clean shop, go to Steve's Fish & Chips in Bald Hills.

Tried here last night with some friends. BEST CHIPS EVER. literally the right amount of chicken salt and just good chips. Lovely service too. Good pricing. Great for a family cheap "takeout" feed.

Was a good little takeaway shop until they decided to up there prices and reduce the grams on chips. Our family would love to come here at least two times a week but after tonight never again ordered $3 chips to have on bread rolls as were a struggling family who like to be able to have the pleasure of getting takeaway one night a week get home to only get 3 bread rolls with chips and having to cook my patner and i dinner so the kids could have a eat out night. Since new reno on place prices are silly and there fish is always under cooked. Won't be coming back anymore would rather drive 5min up the rd knowing $3 chips can fill a 6 pack of bread rolls.

Great friendly staff. Perfectly cooked food everytime we have been there :)
