Very unimpressed today.
Easter Saturday NOT A PUBLIC HOLIDAY ACCORDING TO THE GOVERNMENT WEBSITE.
Yet charged 15% public holiday surcharge.
Then when asked if they are open tomorrow, they say "no it's a public holiday".
When i mentioned it to the waitress that she should let her manager know, she did and asked the manager "should I say anything?" Manager replied "no don't say anything, she's wrong".
WOW!!!!!!!
Still really like going here. Service is always very friendly from the moment you are welcomed, through ordering, delivery of meals and follow through.
"Lunch time special" great value for money for $11 you get a generous side of chips, salad and a "window display pastry".
Iced coffee is made with a shot of coffee. not coffee syrup.

We ordered deluxe pancakes and french toast. We asked for the French Toast to be soaked a little longer than usual (because nobody seems to know how to do it right)
Iced coffees arrived promptly and were lovely , just missing the trademark chokky on top but the rest of the experience makes up for that.
The French toast arrived. Perfection. Soaked right through and cooked perfectly.
