Strong Movers ABN 16 634 423 886 has gone bankrupt. Warning, they are currently taking booking deposits for moves they cannot do. You will not get your deposit back. Shame on you Darwin. I used them in 2020 for a move and multiple furniture items were damaged including a Leather Lounge Couch worth $7000 and a bed $5000 with no compensation. Further promised staff did not show at all leaving Junior staff to do the move resulting in a quote they almost doubled. Google search for Strong Movers vs Jason Dunn, QCAT, items missing, threats to pay more than the original quote or their goods would be held on the truck. QCAT ordered Strong Movers to pay damages totalling $8050. Do not trust this company.
Did not finish the job on the day moving house, also damaged the floor of my new house. The boss came back, still not finish the job, we have to hire another company to finish the job. Arrange their own staff to fix the damaged floor, not fixed, but made it worse than before, now we have to replace the floor instead of repair the floor. Overcharged us for extra hours they came back for finishing the job or over charged for lifting heavy furniture which are included in the initial quote. Very rude staff, standing in front my own house and threating me to pay the remaining of the bill. They should not be in the moving industry at all!!!

Did an enquiry re a quoting website and Darwin rang me almost instantly and quoted, as it turned out, quite accurately over the phone.
Turned up on time, very efficient, careful and courteous.
Will definately use again.
If you think their hourly rate is high, there were 4 men, so took much less time and no call out fee.
Very happy indeed.
These boys helped me to move my piano and also my pool table into my new house. Despite giving them the wrong weight and incorrect number of stairs at the property they were still able to complete the job without fuss. They were also very patient and accommodating with moving the pool table side to side until I was happy with the positioning and level. Cheapest quotes in Brisbane and always availabke when I needed them.
