The Adelaide Coffee Bar
This is one of those coffee shops that I would regularly visit when I lived in Adelaide, if only due to it being pretty close to my work. This place stands out because of the lovely building that it happens to be located inside. The shop is small, and the coffee okay, though not the best, at least where Adelaide coffee is concerned, however the charm of the place, and the friendly staff, do make it a nice place. Mind you, since the street outside is a major road, and pedestrian walkway, I would probably avoid sitting outside, and if you really want to be outside, there is a park around the corner.
The Adelaide Coffee Bar, is a very cosy cafe, that has indoor and out door service. The cafe is busy but has a really good, pleasant, relaxing ambience. Outside on the side walk an Italian family were having lunch with a glass of wine, enjoying the experience. I chose one of their tasty baquettes, with a very well made, palatable coffee. The cafe was busy with a good number of regulars, which is always a good indication of service and food. This is an affordable cafe, offering a good diverse range of food. The locals are aware of this.
