The Bakehouse Cafe (nsw) Pty Ltd

I ordered a coffee and also a small hot chocolate for my son. We sat down and he spat it out on the table. He burnt his tongue. I had a sip and it burnt my tongue. I took the cup over to the counter and told the young girl it had just burnt his mouth and mine. Without even eye contact she mumbled.. " its 50 degrees" I said clearly its much hotter and the least you could do is apologise. She shrugged and said again its 50 degrees! I took my son next door for water and took a photo of his blistered tongue. My husband banned this cafe years ago to bad service.. now I have. The worst customer service by Louise!

Excellent cafe and bakehouse at the Green Point Shopping centre. I can certainly recommend the bacon sausage rolls - very yummy with a thin light but crispy pastry (not that horrible thick soggy stuff!) , The cafe is really clean, neat and tidy, with a wide range of pies and sausage rolls, breads, and an amazing range of beautiful cakes - from special occasion cakes to something to eat straight away, the apple crumble and chocolate brownies are definitely worth trying. They also make a great coffee - for both eat in and take away. Prices are *comparable* with most other bakeries, and the staff are great!
