The Blue Duck

Classy restaurant with a great view. If you are looking for a nice night out this is where it can start.

I called shortly before Christmas to book a table for Christmas lunch. The staff who took the booking was a bit annoying and fussy rather than prompt, which both frustrated me and also made me wonder whether Christmas lunch there was a poor idea.

The food was divine. Despite being a set menu (with a couple of options), the flavours were delicious and more than a stock-standard meal. The staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful, and entree promptly rectified when one guest did not have a vegetarian entree served. We were also fortunate to be seated on the balcony, so enjoyed a lovely view.

It was a bit expensive (where isn't, on Christmas Day?!), but I honestly felt that it was money well-spent.

The blue duck offers a great view fabulous food and reasonable prices especially if you can get the set menu. The staff are always courteous and there are often special menus arranged for different events.

The Blue Duck is an amazing cafe experience. The food isn't the only thing that stands out for 5* quality, great taste and a unique menu, but the view is exquisite and the service staff are friendly and attentive. The option to sit inside or outside makes this cafe a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a morning coffee or afternoon drink, no matter what the weather is like. The prices are reasonable too, which means you can dine there regularly. I love it!
