The Bogey Hole Cafe
Bronte's 'The Bogey Hole Cafe' is practically an institution, boasting hundreds of devout followers that make a weekly pilgrimage to the beach side location to fill up on one of their famed big breakfasts (poached eggs with salmon and avocado topped with aoli, served on sourdough), huge lunches (burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads) or just a coffee and a slice of something sweet.
The modest cafe has none of that cold pretentiousness that plagues Sydney establishments. Take the family or your partner out for breakfast or lunch (or both!).

Have been here a few times due to my sister living around the corner.
It's a quaint little cafe that serves really yummy foods. No seriously. Totes nom value.
Their coffees are pretty good too. Even my mum gave it 5 stars. She had the breakfast with the chilli in it and was blown away because the chilli was actually chilli.
The staff are polite and well, you can't really complain about the view now, can you?
Now you know why this place is always pumping.
We have breakfasted at Bogey Hole many Sundays and loved it until today. We waited 45 minutes after ordering then left without receiving our food. We saw people arrive, have their orders taken, get their food, finish their meal and still we waited. We asked our wait staff to follow up. Staff took 2 orders on way to the kitchen to check on our order. When the table next to us who sat down 25 minutes after we ordered got their food we gave up. Last time we go to bogey hole
One of the many crammed-to-capacity cafes on the beach front at Bronte. Everything on the breakfast menu is tasty, and the fact that they make you order and pay at the counter before being served actually means you don't have the frustration of trying to catch the eye of the frantic waitresses to place your order.
