Cafes
The Coffee Club
central to everything. the food is much to be desired.
it seems this is the place to be in harbor town though. it probably is the only place that sells remotely "made to order" food other than a sandwich bar.
the staff are nice, and they do try their hardest while it is super busy.
i stopped in here with a good friend of mine, as it is one of her fav places to stop for a coffee. i said it once before, coffee club hallett cove was very dissapointing so was not thrilled to be going here. However the food was cooked well for the "special" of the day, and the coffee was nice. there was some difficulty getting my friends card stamped, because she had forgotten to do it when she ordered. but they were more than happy to clear it up and sort it out and accept her card special.
her toastie just looked like a lettuce sandwich, but she seemed to like it and thats all that mattered. the service here was probably really good considering how busy it was through out school holidays
Well, things must have changed since the other review 4 yrs ago! Friend and I were there yesterday, just for coffee...$4 a cup, and the most awful flavour we have ever experienced...and tepid. The food was so expensive that we didn't bother. Dirty tables, stained menus, long wait just for coffee...far better on offer elsewhere.
