The Dava Hotel

Good hotel but definitely can be improved further. Although the food can be abit costly, otherwise the environment is big plus.

Food is always good, atmosphere is warm and friendly, good play section for kids and some of the most friendly staff you will encounter!!
The upstairs deck is brilliant in the summer with amazing ocean views and an absolutely stunning sunset!

I cant believe this hotel. They charge huge prices for food you could buy at any kiosk. The atmosphere is like any bistro, however the food itself is very basic. Just your typical chicken parma dishes etc, and even that is a huge ask for them to make given that my chicken parma was only a sliver of chicken with an over supply of bread crumbs and kraft cheese. I was shocked as well to have to go up and order my meal. Where is service these days? As far as the chefs go, they could provide more quality fresh local ingredients that the peninsula has to offer. Why skirt on food when that is the reason why customers come to visit you in the first place? Buy fresh quality ingredients and do yourself and your customers a favour. Get your staff to actually come up to people and ask "how was your meal" instead of wandering around aimlessly. The Hole family has been going to the dava for year , back when they had the old Victorian class Tram In the Play ground , this place is a Awesome family restaurant with a warm and friendly service
