Enjoy a chat around the bar with some of Matong’s wonderful characters, or join in a late night sing-along. Matong locals say they have the best fishing along the Murrumbidgee & have even been known to share some of their secret fishing spots.
I recently stayed at a near by Motel and was looking for somewhere nice to eat, other than fast food. So when I looked directly across the road from my Motel, I saw this nice little pub sitting on the corner.
I walked over, checked out the menu and was delighted to see a good array of options. Ordered a Chicken Parmigiana and within about 15 minutes the food was ready. Quick and friendly service, with good value too.
Nice little place for a group to get together too it seems.

The air con was on
Service was fast
I ordered a garlic pizza with extra garlic and boy did I get it, the vampire at the next table fainted, the pizza was major yummy.
Snitzels we're pretty good but definitely the pizzas were the front runner
I will definitely be going again
My new favorite place to eat.

Fairdinkum this is one cracker of a hotel, the Farmers Home was a awesome place to visit while I stayed in Wagga Wagga & the food was outstanding, you just gotta get one of thier amazing pizzas as they are topped to the brim as well as there is a huge range to pick from the bistro as well.
The beer is great as you would expect so dine in or sit outside under the huge covered patio area or get a table out in the aussie sun, there is also the main bar to chill out in or hope for the best & spend a few bucks on the pokies.
