I had the most amazing treatment at Lush salon on Saturday in Epping..From the moment i walked in the staff were so attentive and couldnt do enough for me.My massage was divine and my manicure was perfect.I then was asked if i wanted a Blowdry after my massage for a speacial price..I did have this and was so happy i did because my hair looked fab! My sister has been going here for over 5 years and i just returned home from UK and thought i would try it.I will be back..
I wish there was an option to give NO stars. I have had my hair done here and it was fine, but the beauty treatments were very amateur. After a waxing appointment my eyebrows were uneven with many stray hairs left behind. I had a manicure on the same day with the same staff and it was the worst manicure I have ever had. The polish was uneven. The shape of my nails was uneven and they did not use any moisturiser so my cuticles were dry. The polish was slopped on and ran down the sides of my finger tips. I asked the staff to fix one nail and they made it worse by adding two more layers of top coat that had bubbles in it. The polish on two nails peeled off that afternoon. Perhaps the staff I had was new but I would not recommend their beauty services to anyone.
We are embarrassed to read that you have had this experience with us! All of our beauty therapists at lush receive extensive training and require proficiency before performing any treatments on our clients. While we strive to deliver the utmost care and attention to detail with all of our services at the end of the day our therapists are only human and very rarely may appear to have an off day like anyone which may have been the case on this occasion. I went to this salon after I saw it had won the business awards. I was so dissapointed. It was like being on a production line, going from one place to the next and seeing so many different staff members. I left with a style that was the same as I went in ( i asked for a new funky style) and had to pay a hefty price for it. I would not recommend this salon to anyone who wants value for money.
