I mostly have good experiences here. I think it depends on who is cooking on the day though. My most recent experience here was not so good. I ordered a banana smoothie which was so thick and gluggy I couldn't even suck it up the straw. I asked them to remake it and they did but it still didn't taste right. It made me feel rather sick.
I had a breakfast with scrambled eggs and in the past I have claimed Sea Garden makes the best scrambled eggs I have ever had. Unfortunately this time, though, it was more like an omlette that they had chopped up to serve. They were over cooked and not very enjoyable.
This was only one experience, however, and in the past have always had a affordable, enjoyable meal at sea garden. Prices are great, coffee is great. Great location (walk to the beach!). Food is usually good but a little hit and miss at times. Order something safe like the pancakes and you can't go wrong. Worth a try though :)
