Terrible. Utterly dismal service. Apparently, our son did not have his photo taken on school photo day despite him being in attendance. (The school marked him as being present, however, SchoolPix have somehow noted him as 'absent'? My son tells me that he had both his class AND individual photographs taken. What on earth happened to his photos?) We purchased a package with the expectation of receiving copies of the photos and instead received a "Sorry you were absent" card. Our son appears in the class photo (we saw him in the other parents' prints - SchoolPix never sent us a copy despite us ordering one), yet he has no individual photo. I'm utterly heartbroken - this would have been his first ever school photo. I can not express strongly enough my disappointment and anger at the incompetence and poor organisation of SchoolPix, especially given the cost. We have been on a 'waitlist' for months for a new individual photo to be taken of my son another time. ...read more
Very disappointed with them.
My son has been absent shortly during the class photo shoot but returned in time and Schoolpix took sibling photos. They decided to remove my son from the whole school photo book, although they had his digital photo taken on that day.
They made a unilateral decision to send me the class group photo only, with my son missing.
SchoolPix has taken my daughter's photo all through her primary years. The photographers have always made the day fun which has resulted in them capturing her personality and a natural smile. The packages offer great value and the photos are of the highest quality. I highly recommend.
This is the 3rd year in a row I have been dissapointed with school photos. I have just received my digital download of a sibling photo I refuse to purchase the individual prints because they're always terrible. My children are not smilling heads turned not looking etc. Yes they are dealing with children but I was there while the photos were being taken and they get each kid through as quickly as possibly take 3 quick shots and move on. There's no effort these days and with digital photography so accessible to parents these days I think schoolpix need to up there game.
