This place may have seen better days. It is a mediterranean styled restaurant in Seddon on the popular eating district of Charles Street. My friend recommended the rabbit agnolotti and I found it a bit chewy. My partner got the lamb pizza which was probably the better of the 2 dishes. The watiers were not particularly enthusiastic about their job. Will probably come back if I'm more desperate next time.
Touks is a regular weekend breakfast choice - ok fine, by the time we get there it is more like lunch. It has been our long standing local choice. Coffee is always great, and we always receive a friendly welcome. Even better when our coffee's are ordered for us as they see us arrive and know what we want.
My favourite breakfast is the corn fritters with salmon and salsa, although at times prefer mine with crispy bacon rather than the salmon.
There have been a few menu changes of recent times but our last visit I noticed they have reintroduced some old favourites, like terracotta baked eggs which chickpeas, chorizo and feta. The vanilla and ricotta pancakes with berry compote are another good choice.
All in all a good feed and always leave feeling very satisfied.
