Mark from Urathane Solutions visited my old home and gave me valuable advice about my house and its foundations. There has been cracks and movements in my 100 year old house He spent well over an hour and was interested in helping me fix my foundation problems rather than make a quick sale. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable. I will be using Urathane in the future when other issues with my house are sorted. I can't thank him enough for his valuable advice.
I have just had Mark spend thge last two days underpinning my home. The problem was my house is on reactive clay, and the house was sinking at the rear. The transformation was amazing. The house was raised up to 60mm. A gap between brickwork and the rear sliding door which I could place my thumb in closed up as if it hadn't been there. Cracks in the ceiling plaster closed to be easily fixed by a plasterer. At all times Mark kept me apraised of how the work was progressing. He even did extras that the underpinning couldn't fix - a couple of doors dindn't quite make it back to normal, so he plainned them and trimmed the side gate to shut properly. I can highly recommend Mark and Urathane Solutions to anyone who has a problem with their slab.
We have just had our extension underpinned by Mark from Urathane Solutions Pty. Ltd., he was very helpful in explaining the process at our first meeting to check out our extension to work out the "fixed" quote. He was upfront on what he could achieve, he said he would be able to get a measurable difference and if he needed to do more than what he quoted it was at no extra cost to us.
Our extension had a extensive gap at the top of both walls, and if I was not there to see what was happening I would not have believed it. the worse wall crack has been closed back to original and moved about 42 mm and the other is less than 5 mm. The original part of the house was built in the 1920's and the extension about 13 years old. The worse corner of the extension was lifted about 80 mm.
I was very pleased on the results and it has added value back to our house because of the fabulous job done by Mark.
