extremely rude staff and management. it is always too much of a hassle for them to make a coffee. if you don't want to work in the industry then sell your business. There is nothing worse than a grumpy response when you ask for a coffee. if your sign says open till 430 then you should be serving your customers with a smiling face until 430!
As soon as I walked into this cafe I was greeted by friendly staff, I sat down and was given menus right away and sat in the sun looking out to the mountain view. The menu was great and varied too for a small place. The food and coffees arrived quite quickly and both were delicious! Even had a second cup (just $2 for 2nd cup) and shared a sweet with my friend! Will definitely return to this lovely tucked away cafe! Loved it!
Just recently went with one of my friends here for a Saturday morning coffee and brunch. We sat down at a table which had not been cleared from the previous customers and after 15 minutes of waiting we asked one of the staff if the plates could be cleared. They rudely retorted, "I would have done it anyway". After this, it took around another 15 minutes to be given menu's (so we had been there for a total of 30 minutes so far). I was aware of the fact that the cafe was very busy and so we were willing to wait a reasonable amount of time. However the thing that was the most frustrating was that I needed a high chair for my baby and they told me I couldn't have one because we were sitting in a walk way area and the waiters needed to get through. Because the cafe was full there was no where else to sit. Overall it wasn't a very pleasant experience, fortunately the coffees and brunch tasted good and are the only reason why I gave this cafe one star.
