I've tried this place at least 4 times and each time there's a problem. Staff are pretty so so and lovely but the others just seem always unhappy. I've had lunch which was average, breakfast which was cold ( did tell them but nothing done), lunch recently which was chicken, asparagus and cheese sour dough. Got two slabs bread with chicken and melted cheese no garnish or even a piece of lettuce. Very unappetising! Took my plate back as no staff around and they remade it with tinned asparagus!!!! Now that's just not on particularly as there is a great green grocer two steps away! What restaurant serves tinned asparagus!!?? So this meal and a coffee cost me $20. Easy place to meet people in the area but I always seem to get dud food and I'm not even someone who really cares but sometimes you just have to draw the line.
Weak/watery coffee, average but pricey food ($15 for two eggs, two pieces of toast, a bit of avocado, tablespoon of ricotta and some tomato?) but the real thing that let this place down was the service. Long story short, there was a dispute over the bill and the staff and management couldn't have been more rude, unprofessional and confrontational. I've eaten in hundreds of restaurants around the world and never been so livid at the end of a visit. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation as there looked to be plenty of other cafes nearby.
