Now this pub is magnificent. I realised this as soon as I stepped in through the door. From the front it doesn't look like much, but the awesome vibe hit me as soon as I entered. The first thing I noticed where the craft beers, which as you probably know, is a bonus in my books, but what made this pub stand out was some of the great works of art on the wall. However, it doesn't stop there because if you wander out the back, into the carpark, you will suddenly discover that they have set up a basketball court. There aren't many pubs around that can boast a basketball court (not that I actually play basketball). Oh, and there was plenty of seating as well.

Ahhh Vic on the Park... wherefore art thou service?!

We went here for a quick dinner last night. Well. We thought it was going to be a quick dinner.

First off, nothing on the specials menu was available. I wanted the pulled chicken quesidilla's - but no go, not available. My friend wanted the pulled pork salad... no, none of that either. Or the other item we wanted off the specials menu. ...read more

From its dog-friendly deck and basketball half-court, to its traditional pub grub menu, The Vic has some serious appeal and proves to be both a great spot for a quick casual catch up, and somewhere to lose an entire afternoon drinking in the sun. While my date made friends with strangers’ dogs, I enjoyed the Beef Burger ($18) and ate the majority of her Chicken Schnitzel ($18). Between us, we drank so many glasses of Wicks Adelaide Hills Sauv. Blanc ($8) that it's a Vic-tory we managed to avoid embarrassing ourselves on the basketball court.

Great option for a drink/bite to eat before or after a show at the factory theatre.
Lots of seating inside and outside and a good vibe.
